The month of October was bonkers for a client; they decided to host six live events in the span of about as many weeks…most of which saw very little planning or communication from their end (it was legit like pulling teeth for some). 🤦‍♀️

I knew with such a lack of clarity on WHY they were hosting these events and for WHO, not to mention WHAT they were going to discuss they would be an uphill battle.

I wasn’t wrong. My anxiety was proof.

So I focused on what *I* could do to make them a success.

Here were my main focuses:
1. Promoting the events on social media.
2. Promoting the events to their email list.
3. Reaching out to their network and asking them to promote the events.

To be honest, I moved away from DFY primarily many years ago so I don’t do it often, and if I’m being BRUTALLY honest, after these past two DFY clients I likely won’t take any in.
