When I was an SMM and web designer full time, I was task rich and verrrrrry time poor, and got to the point where I knew something needed to change (because, you know, 4 hours of broken sleep per night was not sustainable).

These are the exact THREE things that I did to shift my business so that I would actually ENJOY it again.

One of the things that made a BIG difference was releasing my massively toxic client and then reassessing the type of client I wanted.

I had SO MANY 🥂 dreams on a 🍺 budget clients, so I was cobbling together a bunch of clients that were paying me $200/month…and those were the ones that I found…

👉 Weren’t open to my recommendations, and,
👉 Were the most demanding and, dare I say, high maintenance. 🫣

While this is not true for ALL $200/month clients, it was for mine at the time.

I wasn’t truly valued. 🤷‍♀️

So I stopped working with that type of client and increased my rates to a point where I was more comfortable with!

I remember hearing about Domino Goals for the first time and it was like this whole big world opened up to me and everything (goal setting) just fell into place!

Do you feel like set your goals EFFECTIVELY?

My first solo trip AND in-person event! 🙌

These pictures are just a glimpse at this past week. Honestly, what you see:
- Me having fun
- Me living it up, eating, drinking, learning
- Me meeting friends in real life
- Me staying in a boujee hotel, solo
- Me indulging in Target time!

What you DON’T see:
- Nerves about leaving my kids for so long for the first time
- The introvert wall being hit harrrrrrrrd
- Working double duty, supporting clients in person and from afar while also learning and being a student
- Guilt for wanting to be away so badly, and also guilt for hearing my kiddo’s sad when I spoke to them
- Pushing myself outside of my comfort zone throughout the whole trip- setting boundaries, mingling, dressing in actual clothing (that wasn’t all black leggings), participating in group discussions, driving in a new city/different country, going on a solo trip, meeting people from the internet IRL, exploring and going for walks on my own, not giving into my excuses…
