How often will you let fear make you walk away from an opportunity?

During the first year in my business, I made a pact with myself...

I promised myself that I would say yes to every opportunity that came my way as long as it didn't violate my morals or ethics.

👉 An example for me at the time was working with cigarette companies (sorry, smokers!). I knew I would not then or ever market for a cigarette company because I was not fond of the product, used the product, or agreed with the product.

So I didn't.

But I said YES a hell more than I said no, even when it was so hard, uncomfortable, and scary.

👉 I accepted a job teaching social media at a college even though I felt like a MASSIVE imposter.

👉 I designed ads that went to print even though I was using Canva and had no graphic design experience or training.

👉 I hired a coach even though I didn't know if I needed one.
I hired a team before I was ready.

👉 I ran an internship even though I felt like I was just one step ahead of my interns.

👉 I put my face on camera when I felt like a damned fraud.

✨ I knew the key to getting my business off the ground was to say "YES" to opportunity and repeatedly take those leaps of faith! ✨

So I did.

And here we are, five years later, and I'm proud of how far I've come and everything I've accomplished 💃💃💃

Have I achieved all of my goals?

Of course not, because as I and my business evolve and grow, so do those goals.

But I know I'm on my way to that next goal every day, and I am thrilled about it!

With so many of you having just celebrated Thanksg

With so many of you having just celebrated Thanksgiving, I have an honest question for you…

When you were reflecting on all of the things you are grateful for, did YOU make the list?

Did you acknowledge how grateful you are for yourself?

For everything you’ve overcome, for everything you’ve gone through, for everything you’ve accomplished and how far you’ve come?

Did you thank yourself for your patience? Your dedication and perseverance? For your ability to keep going on both the hard days and the good ones?

Practicing gratitude is something I’ve done for a long time, to help bring me back to the present, and frankly, to manage my anxiety.

And it wasn’t until these past few months that I showed any appreciation or gratitude for myself.

Any patience, compassion, and acceptance.

What I teach, I also live, and this is where the blend of mentorship and coaching can really come in, because I intuitively give you what I believe you need in any given moment. If you need guidance, great, I’ll give it to you! But one thing I’ve noticed from some of my own coaching experiences that have left me feeling less understood and validated is to hear that they’ve gone through these struggles too, which is one of the reasons that I do not hold back with you. I’m more than happy to share the strategy, the mindset, AND the personal experiences, because I always want you to feel heard.

I’ve been riding the entrepreneurial roller coas

I’ve been riding the entrepreneurial roller coaster for over five years, and I can tell you that your business and LIFE will improve drastically when you start to focus on what you DO have rather than what you DON’T.

But let’s be honest…that’s a lot easier said than done.

Because we’ve been raised in a world and society that lives by the phrase “if it doesn’t bleed, it doesn’t lead” when it comes to news stories.

Because we’ve been told to focus on what we don’t have.

Because we’ve been conditioned to believe that things can’t be easy and we don’t deserve anything unless we put mass amounts of blood, sweat, and tears in.

But do you know what?

This past year- and these past four months in particular- have really tested me on a personal level. And so I made the decision to take some of the pressure off of myself and put my energy into my existing clients, family, community, and friends.

And do you know what happened?
👉 I showed up on social WAY less.
👉 My client relationships strengthened even more.
👉 I became more present with my kids.
👉 I focused so much on myself and my own healing, growth, and my own support networks.

And through ALL of that…
MY BUSINESS GREW EVEN MORE.

My life became more full.
My anxiety decreased significantly.
I feel like I can breathe again.

When I turned inward and when I refocused on all of the beautiful things my life is already full of, business felt lighter, happier, and easier.
